It’s that time again….don’t forget to turn your clocks back 1-hour this coming Saturday night and gain an extra hour of sleep, which I’m sure almost all of us could use! This is also a great time to go around your house, and take care of a few things that are often forgotten, but should be done at least once a year. Check the batteries in all your smoke detectors to make sure they are still functioning. Replace all of your filters….furnace filters, refrigerator water filters, stovetop exhaust fan filters, vacuum filters…the list goes on and on. Go through your medicine cabinet and properly dispose of any prescriptions or medications that have expired. Flip and spin your mattress. And of course be careful out there, especially with driving! As wonderful as it is to gain an extra hour of sleep, it can take many people weeks to adjust to the change and driving to and from work in the dark.
