Application Processor
Wolf and Kline Property Management specializes in full-service property management and real estate services to fit the needs of landlords or homeowners. Position Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Supervisor: Leasing Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Office
Expectations
Verify, compile, and input data for personal and company information related to applications.
Review application files to ensure completeness and compliance with company vetting procedures.
Managing communication with Pet Screening.
Manage frequent communication and coordination with rental reference providers.
Assist scheduling property showings and coordinating with prospective tenants.
Provide recommendations on whether applicants meet company standards and report any discrepancies or negative findings to the supervisor.
Contact applicants, banking institutions, insurance companies, and employers to confirm or clarify the accuracy of information.
Conducting credit and background screenings for applicants to assess qualifications and suitability for renting.
Document notes in the database, conduct online research, and utilize MS Office Suite products.
Submit application files for quality control review.
Respond to online inquiries within 24 hours, whenever possible.
Offer consistent support to applicants throughout the application process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in finance underwriting, loan processing, accounting, or taxes.
Experience in customer service in a fast-paced office environment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local residential leasing laws.
Familiarity with Fair Housing laws, FCRA, and leasing policies (e.g., credit screening, pet policies).
Real estate license is a plus.
